Island Jay's Pineapple Mai Tai Recipe (Video)

When it comes to Mai Tai's, we have to immediately pay homage to Trader Vic's. Back in 1944 Vic created something new and gave it to his friend Carrie to try. She took a sip and said, "It's Mai Tai - Roa Ae!". This means "Out of this World - The Best", in Tahitian. Vic decided to name the drink "Mai Tai".

Fast forward 70+ years and there are many versions of the Mai Tai. The strong mix of different rums and fruit juices will bring you back to the tropics. Here is Island Jay's version, the Pineapple Mai Tai.
